Lorraine says to chop the bottom off the potato if you can’t get it to sit still. But don’t do this unless you really have to because it won’t fan out as nicely. If you can’t get them to fan properly, then shove the salt and rosemary into the slits and that will force them open. Interestingly, they take as long to cook as normal baked potatoes – why?
They’re easy to do, look pretty and taste good. Having said that, they are a little bit pointless!
